Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry seeking to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. The organization was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller and his wife Linda. Today, the organization has built over 300,000 houses around the world. There are a variety of ways in which you can get involved.
