Lacqua/Worobel Family Wins the “Crazy Family Competition” at Woodloch Pines!

My family won a medal from Woodloch Pines, PA this summer and you would never believe why.

We went down a slide into a pool of Hershey’s chocolate. We had to drank lemonade as fast as we could. We got squirted with water guns.

It was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, and we went to Woodloch Pines with my whole family.

We had a great time!!!

These girls are the Tinton Falls ShoreCats….. They play National 2… soon to be National 1 for Monmouth and Ocean County Soccer.

They have won for the 2nd year in a row the U12 Girls “Fall Classic Tournament in Wall, NJ.”

My 5yr old daughter, Nadia, loves to dress up in the house as The Little Mermaid. One morning she woke up at 5AM and decided she was gonna be Princess Ariel for the day. She got all dressed up (wig and all!!), and she put the makeup on all by herself. For the rest of the day, I had to address her as Ariel or Little Mermaid.

My First Tour of the Operating Room!

Just recently, last Friday, I got a special tour with my friend Alison of the operating room at Richmond University Medical Center, my local hospital. The only time I saw the operating room was when I had eye surgery at three-years-old, and of course when I watch my favorite show, Grey’s Anatomy.

I am currently volunteering at the hospital, and when my dad told me about stopping in the OR for a tour, I immediately jumped at the idea! I even got to get a glimpse of my dad and uncle Michael performing surgery. My friend and I got to wear our very own scrubs, and we had a blast walking around and learning how it all works. I have a big interest in the medical field, so I would definitely do this again!
